How does the pack builder work?
Everything happens on your device. When you press Generate, your browser creates each Nurikabe grid from the pack seed, solves it to make the answer key, and lays the pages out as a PDF. Nothing is uploaded and there’s no account. Four 5×5, 6×6 or 7×7 grids share a sheet, and two 8×8, 9×9 or 10×10 grids share a sheet. Tick Large print if you want one big grid per page. 5×5 through 8×8 come in easy, medium and hard, and 9×9 and 10×10 in easy and medium. Each puzzle prints with its number and seed, so answers line up even when you keep them in a separate PDF. The same seed and settings always give the same puzzles. Use Copy share link to send a class or a friend the exact same pack, or press shuffle for a fresh set.

About these Nurikabe packs
Print a Nurikabe pack and solve it with a pencil. Nurikabe asks you to shade cells black so the black cells form one connected sea, and the white cells form islands. Each number sits on a white island of that exact size. Islands never touch across or down, but they may touch at a corner. No 2×2 block is all black, and a numbered cell is never shaded. Each file is a black and white booklet: the puzzles come first with the clue numbers on a light cell grid, and the answer key starts on its own page with the sea filled solid black and the numbers still on white islands. Packs are split by size and difficulty: 5×5, 6×6, 7×7 and 8×8 at easy, medium and hard, and 9×9 and 10×10 at easy and medium. A 5×5, 6×6 or 7×7 sheet holds four puzzles, and an 8×8, 9×9 or 10×10 sheet holds two. Seeds are fixed, so the same download always has the same grids. Each single pack has eight puzzles, and the starter pack has one puzzle from each of the sixteen packs. To try one grid on screen first, open Nurikabe and use Print or Download PDF there.
