How does the pack builder work?
Everything happens on your device. When you press Generate, your browser creates each Heyawake grid from the pack seed, solves it to make the answer key, and lays the pages out as a PDF. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Four 6×6 or 7×7 grids share a sheet, and two 8×8 or 10×10 grids share a sheet. A 12×12 grid has the sheet to itself. Tick Large print if you want one big grid per page. 6×6 through 10×10 come in easy, medium, and hard. 12×12 is hard only. Each puzzle prints with its number and seed, so answers line up even when you keep them in a separate PDF. The same seed and settings always give the same puzzles. Use Copy share link to send a class or a friend the exact same pack, or press shuffle for a fresh set.

About these Heyawake packs
Print a Heyawake pack and solve it with a pencil. The board is split into rectangles. A number in the top-left cell of a room is the exact count of shaded cells in that room. A room with no number has no fixed count. A 0 means the whole room stays white. Shaded cells never share a side, though they may touch at a corner. Every white cell has to stay joined to the other white cells by its sides. A straight run of white cells in one row or one column must not pass through three rooms or more. A dot means you already know that cell is white. The answer key fills the shaded cells and does not print dots. A number that sits on a shaded cell is printed in white so it stays readable. Each file is a black-and-white booklet. Puzzle pages show the rooms and the numbers. The answer key starts on its own page. Packs cover 6×6, 7×7, 8×8, and 10×10 at easy, medium, and hard, plus print-only 12×12 hard. A 6×6 or 7×7 sheet holds four puzzles. An 8×8 or 10×10 sheet holds two. A 12×12 sheet holds one. Tick Large print for one big grid per page. Seeds are fixed, so the same download always has the same grids. Each single pack has eight puzzles, and the starter pack has one puzzle from each band. To try one grid on screen first, open Heyawake and use Print or Download PDF there.
