How does the pack builder work?
Everything happens on your device. When you press Generate, your browser creates each Battleships grid from the pack seed, solves it to make the answer key, and lays the pages out as a PDF. Nothing is uploaded and there's no account. Four 6×6 grids share a sheet, two 8×8 or 10×10 grids share a sheet, and a 12×12 or 15×15 grid gets its own page unless you tick Large print for one big grid per page. 6×6, 8×8, and 10×10 come in easy, medium, and hard. 12×12 and 15×15 are print only, and they come in easy only. Each puzzle prints with its number and seed, so answers line up even when you keep them in a separate PDF. The same seed and settings always give the same puzzles. Use Copy share link to send a class or a friend the exact same pack, or press shuffle for a fresh set.

About these Battleships packs
Print a Battleships pack and solve it with a pencil. Every cell is either ship or water. Ships are straight lengths from 1 to 4, across or down, and they never touch, even at a corner. A number left of each row and above each column says how many ship cells that line holds, and a count of 0 is printed, so a blank line is never a missing clue. Segment marks are locked on the page: a round mark is a one-cell ship, a triangle is an end that points toward the rest of the ship, and a bar is a middle segment. Extra printed ship squares and water crosses are locked too. Each file is a black-and-white booklet. Puzzle pages show the counts outside the grid, the segment marks, and a fleet of bars under the grid. The answer key starts on its own page and draws each ship as one bar, with a cross in every water cell. Packs cover 6×6, 8×8, and 10×10 at easy, medium, and hard, plus print-only 12×12 easy and 15×15 easy. A 6×6 sheet holds four puzzles, an 8×8 or 10×10 sheet holds two, and a 12×12 or 15×15 sheet holds one. Seeds are fixed, so the same download always has the same grids. Each single pack has eight puzzles, and the starter pack has eleven, one from each shipped band. To try one grid on screen first, open Battleships and use Print or Download PDF there.
