How does the pack builder work?
Everything happens on your device. When you press Generate, your browser creates each Kurodoko grid from the pack seed, solves it to make the answer key, and lays the pages out as a PDF. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Four 5×5, 6×6, or 7×7 grids share a sheet. Two 8×8, 9×9, or 10×10 grids share a sheet. A 12×12 grid has the sheet to itself. Tick Large print if you want one big grid per page. Every size from 5×5 through 10×10, and 12×12, comes in easy, medium, and hard. 12×12 is for print only. Each puzzle prints with its number and seed, so answers line up even when you keep them in a separate PDF. The same seed and settings always give the same puzzles. Use Copy share link to send a class or a friend the exact same pack, or press shuffle for a fresh set.

About these Kurodoko packs
Print a Kurodoko pack and solve it with a pencil. Some cells show a number. That number counts every white cell it can see in a straight line up, down, left, and right, including itself. A shaded cell stops the view. Shade cells so the numbers match, shaded cells never share a side, and every white cell stays connected to the others. A numbered cell stays white. A dot means you already know that cell stays white. The answer key fills the shaded cells, keeps the numbers, and does not print dots. Each file is a black-and-white booklet. Puzzle pages show the numbers. The answer key starts on its own page. Packs cover 5×5 through 10×10, and also 12×12, each at easy, medium, and hard. A 5×5, 6×6, or 7×7 sheet holds four puzzles. An 8×8, 9×9, or 10×10 sheet holds two. A 12×12 sheet holds one. Tick Large print for one big grid per page. Seeds are fixed, so the same download always has the same grids. Each single pack has eight puzzles, and the starter pack has 21 puzzles, one of every size and difficulty that ships, including the print-only 12×12 grids. To try one grid on screen first, open Kurodoko and use Print or Download PDF there.
